On August 7, 2023, Zeng Jixin, Head of Office of the People's Republic of China to the State of Palestine, led the Office’s diplomats to the Ministry of Foreign Affairs and Expatriates of the State of Palestine for a discussion and exchange with Omar Awadallah,  Assistant Foreign Minister of Palestinian MOFAE. The two sides had in-depth exchanges on topics of common interest, including the situation in the Occupied Palestinian Territory.
